He looks to use a
text or texts that resonate with his current thinking, as a catalyst for
practice, a way to directly link his research and practice, a natural
progression by means of response. This gap is bridged directly; the work seeks
to respond to the text through the practice. The artists practice in this sense
is a means of opening dialogue both with the text and with the audience. he
seeks to create work that is in dialogue with its influences as well as its
viewers.
