Aamira Mulla

Aamira has shown many different techniques and visual outcomes. She wanted to show the audience the current status of women in general. Mulla wanted to show the work to challenge the current inequality and some cases ‘extreme’ oppression that are still occurring within both developed and third-world countries. She believes that women are still subjected to despotism – being treated like an object without feeling - that shows no restraint. Within her work on a series of painting and installations, it is very colourful, exciting, eye-catching and expressive.
