Amanda Marillier

Marillier is interested in cartoons from children’s television. She wants her work to depict humor and childhood memories in an abstract form. When Marillier performs with her guitar it sends her to another dimension. Like when she is painting she gets lost in her own world and everything else disappears during the moments of creating. She has always felt this and music is something that is a part of her. As a musician and songwriter, lyrics, meaning and emotion are important and in her art work the most important thing is the emotion that she transmits through to the audience from the art work.
